Information on the Statewide Major Party Primary Election
Tuesday August 13, 2024
For this election, you will receive all three ballots: Democrat, Progressive, and Republican.
You will vote just one ballot, and you must return the other two, non-voted ballots in order for us to be able to count the one ballot you are voting on.
Voters will need to request an Absentee Ballot if you want to vote by mail. Please contact the Town Clerk’s office to request an absentee ballot. The last day to request an absentee ballot is Thursday, August 8, 2024 before 3 pm.
Town Clerk’s office will be closed Monday August 12, 2024 to prepare for the election and Tuesday August 13, 2024 for the election.
Polls are open at 10 am until 7 pm on Tuesday August 13, 2024 at the West Rutland Town Hall Auditorium.
