Election Ballot Information

Election Day is November 5

For this election, all Vermont voters will receive their ballot in the mail from the Secretary of State’s office.  If you want to vote in person on November 5th, you will have to bring your ballot to the polling place. If you do not bring your ballot, you are required to sign an Affidavit of No Ballot Cast stating that you received one before we can issue another ballot.

If you were registered to vote by 9/9/24, you will receive a ballot to the mailing address on your voter registration.

If you registered to vote or changed your mailing address after 9/9/24, please reach out to the Clerk’s Office so we can issue you a ballot once they arrive. You may be required to sign an Affidavit of No Ballot Cast.

Ballots are expected to be delivered by the 1st of October. If you do not see your ballot by October 4th, please contact the Clerk’s Office.

We recommend that you mail your ballot in at least 2 weeks before election day.  You can always return it in person at the Town Clerk’s office during business hours (Monday thru Thursday 9am to 3 pm), or in the secure drop box anytime.

What is an Affidavit of No Ballot Cast? – This form is for a voter to swear, under penalty of perjury, that they will not cast 2 ballots in an election
